Congratulations Smoth!
Just wanted to point this out. We’re one step further into Christianity fandom!

First “The Happening” Poster
I’m a huge M. Night Shyamalan fan, despite his most recent stunt, Lady in the Water…I still believe he’s one of the most talented filmmakers out there. After a year or two, he’s finally making a comeback with his next movie, The Happening.
“A paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity.”
Doesn’t sound too promising but I’ll definitely give it a try. Anyways, here’s a glimpse at the first poster.

Speed Racer Trailer
I was so pumped after finding out that the Wachowski’s were working on a Speed Racer live action movie. The Matrix, Animatrix and V made me believe these guys were perfect for anime to live action projects. Well apparently I might be wrong this time. The first Speed Racer trailer is out and it has “bullshit” written all over it. The visual aspect looks stupid yet original at the same time…so I don’t know what to say about that. Just check out the trailer, it seriously looks like some crazy acid shit.
Technorati Tags: News, PodcastsThe Return of Smoth Loves Movies…for real.
It has been over five months since my last post and yes I know, we come and go…it’s freaking annoying. Any how, I’ve been talking to Rob about bringing back Smoth one last time under the strict condition that I stick to the “plan”, which won’t be too difficult to accomplish. What’s going to happen? For starters, I’ll be updating the site from Monday to Friday, Podcasts every Monday and a weekly editorial posted Friday morning. There are so many things I want to do with the site but I can’t quite talk about them as of yet. The site will go “live” this Monday 19th and the premiere episode 12 will be online Monday 26th.
So there you have it folks, I hope you all come back and enjoy the site, we’re coming back for a long time…I think?

If you don’t want to see anymore Transformers footage until the day of its premiere, DO NOT play this video. You won’t find any major spoilers here but this is your chance to hear Megatron speak! I’m so friggin pump for this movie!
Live Free or Die Hard is… Good?

From what I’ve been able to gather in terms of opinions across the Internet, it seems that the 4th installment of the John McClane Adventures, more commonly known as “Live Free or Die Hard,” is actually quite good. This is pretty shocking, considering that all of the sequels that have been released thus far have been disappointments through and through. The Die Hard trilogy is an example of what action movies should be, and even though the sequels are exceptional and above most of the stuff that’s been pumped out of
Harrison Ford as Indy in Indiana Jones IV
Click on the image to enlarge. Color me cautiously hopeful. I’m sure the image you see above of Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones get-up doesn’t speak much in terms of what the plot is like or if the whole movie is just another abomination to make money. Nonetheless, I’m posting it because the image feels right. For some reason, it looks like Indy is back. Unbelievable, but true.
